The North Wing Horizon ET is designed to bring the new pilot far into the sport by offering outstanding performance in tight sail setting with pull of the VG line, and docile handling in loose settings to go right from the training hill to fun soaring. If you are learning to fly by aero or truck towing, you will be glad to know the Horizon ET is very stable under tow, even without a stabilizer tail! The 10-minute set up time is also nice! Read some notes from Horizon pilots...
With the Horizon ET, we have brought the easy-to-fly concept back in this double surface novice wing. We believe that by using today's sail design knowledge and the use of elliptical fiberglass tips, we have succeeded in a design that soars and thermals even easier, and with the pull of the VG you can have exciting top-end performance. The Horizon ET will talk to you and give precise feedback throughout the flight envelope, and will help you advance your flying experience and skills on a timely basis.
Are you concerned about buying a new wing, only to out-grow it in six months? The North Wing Horizon ET represents a benchmark in the next generation of entry-level Hang Gliders.

Notes from a Horizon pilot...
"Recently Matt Taber, of The Look Out Mountain Flight Park, helped me to change my heavier wing that I had flown for several years, into a Horizon ET, one year old in great shape. The reason being my somewhat august age of 83. For 25 years, Matt has always found the ultimate glider for me at the time a change was needed. I am very impressed with the workmanship of the glider, its size and weight and its performance. And it treats this old chap with respect and gets him up among the youngsters on top. I can now look forward to many more years of hang gliding among the community of pilots, where life is at its best. And years later I will shuffle over to Matt to ask for another lighter North Wing to fly.
Thank You, Life is good." Otto von Rosen · Chappells, SC
Notes from a Horizon pilot...
"I'd like to congratulate y'all on a huge success with the Horizon. It flies and performs exactly as you described and was the exact glider that you were trying to make. A perfect first glider for new pilots that will take them farther into their intermediate flying after allowing them to grow from beginners, through novice, and into intermediate pilots." -Drew
